The sensor system recognizes visible tube welding seams. The position of the seam is measured and the tube is rotated into a defined position before welding.
The sensor system works:
- in a non-contact manner,
- quickly,
- safely, and has
- high optical resolution.
A high-resolution CCD camera detects the surface of the workpiece using front illumination. Bent fluorescent tubes illuminate the surface evenly, enabling flexible adaptation to different tube materials and diameters. |
