Management Changes within the TRUMPF Group

On July 1, 2003 Peter Leibinger will succeed Paul Seiler, who is going into retirement, as head of TRUMPF Laser GmbH + Co. KG in Schramberg.

As manager of the Holding he will also assume the post of spokesman for the Laser Technology division. Peter Leibinger has been on the board of management of the Holding since 2000, and is currently the head of TRUMPF's US subsidiary TRUMPF Inc. in Farmington, CT.

Also on July 1, 2003, Martin Benzinger, in addition to his position as Managing Director of TRUMPF Systemtechnik GmbH, will also take over as head of TRUMPF Lasertechnik GmbH, Ditzingen.

Dr. Reinhard Wollermann-Windgasse, head of TRUMPF Lasertechnik GmbH, Ditzingen, will be leaving the company on June 30, 2003 and joining the board of directors of a plant engineering company in the hightech sector.

Changes in the Machine Tools Division

As of July 1, 2003 Hans-Jochen Beilke is to become head of sales at TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG. From January 1, 2002 Beilke was spokesman for the TRUMPF Group's Electronics/Medical Technology division and also the head of HÜTTINGER in Freiburg. He was in charge of foreign sales for TRUMPF from 1987 to 1990.

Mr. Beilke will be replacing Rainer Hundsdörfer, who will be leaving the TRUMPF Group on June 30, 2003 and taking over as CEO of a mechanical engineering company.

Changes in the TRUMPF Holding
 
With effect from January 1, 2003 Dr. phil. Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller was appointed a member of the board of management of the TRUMPF Holding.

Her tasks include coordination of corporate communications within the TRUMPF Group as well as social policy and protocol. Dr. Leibinger-Kammueller will also continue as managing director of the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung GmbH.
