PierceLine: Precision pierced holes with little cratering |
The PierceLine not only monitors the piercing process but regulates it as well: Always as much laser power as possible and only as briefly as necessary. This saves time and reduces wear on material and machine.
Especially in soft piercing, the average power output with PierceLine therefore always stays just below the threshold where the material is susceptible to uncontrolled burning. This yields precision pierced holes with reduced cratering. |

Cut time expenditure with PierceLine
Through the use of PierceLine, time savings of over 50 % per piercing point can be attained in thick materials. This is because piercing takes place only as long as the laser beam needs to penetrate the material. The overall machining time for multiple piercing operations is drastically shortened. |
